The Role:

As an Aerodynamicist, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing and improving the performance of customer vehicles. You will be involved in the entire aerodynamic development cycle, from initial concepts to vehicle deployment. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing components using CFD simulations, as well as wind tunnel and track testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across a variety of customer projects, supporting aerodynamic development in motorsport and automotive disciplines.

  • Analyse CFD and experimental results to provide actionable insights and optimise performance.

  • Develop robust aerodynamic solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and development teams to ensure successful integration of aerodynamic attributes.

  • Prepare detailed reports of simulation findings, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams to support project objectives.

  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

  

Key Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in aerodynamics, ideally within Formula 1, high-level motorsport, or the automotive sector.

  • A degree in Aerodynamics or a related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience with CFD software such as STAR-CCM+ or OpenFOAM.

  • Solid understanding and ability in parametric CAD design, with a preference for CATIA 3DX.

  • A strong understanding of overall vehicle performance principles.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Strong report writing and presentation abilities.

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
